Inhalt
Der einzelgängerische Farmer Leonard Mann (Jeremias Bridger), einziger Überlebender eines Indianerangriffs, verfolgt die "roten Wilden" mit mörderischem Hass, bis er entdeckt, dass nicht sie, sondern ein Grossgrundbesitzer und dessen Komplizen seine Eltern ermordet haben. Danach tut er auch vielen Indianern Gutes, so dass ein Indianermädchen, das er schätzengelernt hat, schliesslich eine tröstliche Bilanz aufmacht: "Jetzt hast du genauso viele Indianer gerettet, wie du getötet hast." Während Prescott (Klaus Kinski) durch die Prärie streicht und ein Unheil auf das andere häuft.
Brutaler Italo-Western, in Form und Inhalt gleich niveaulos. Das aufsehenerregendste des Films scheint eine ausgepeitschte Frau zu sein (siehe unten).
Kritik
- A Spaghetti western. A beautiful Indian woman called Tune (Elisabeth Eversfield) is captured by an outlaw gang and kept on their ranch in a kind of "harem". One evening the chief commands her to sleep with one of his guests, Prescott (Klaus Kinski). But in the night she is recalcitrant. The gang is woken up by Prescott's cries and curses, and catches the fleeing girl in the yard. She has scratched Kinski's skin with her fingernails. The next day she gets her punishment, watched by Prescott and the others. With the arms widely spread, her wrists are tied to a wooden fence (front to fence), while she is told what awaits her. Her dress has a deep neck so the back is naked. Then she is bull-whipped very hard from behind. Before each lash, the man swings the long, heavy whip like a lasso, giving the tail a high speed. You hear the hissing and the sharp cracks, and her moans become more and more intense. Some shots of her front, face and back at the right moments. After eight lashes, the scene is interrupted by an arriving stranger.
